Fred R. Kline Gallery, Santa Fe, New Mexico

Artist: Leon Gaspard (Russian-American, 1882-1964): Tribal peoples and their ceremonies and costumes, including Russian and Native American, were important subjects for Gaspard. Considered today one of the masters of the Taos School, from 1915 until his death Gaspard added a distinguished style and subject matter to the varied catalogue of the legendary art colony.
