Children at the mercy of wild beasts, of thieves, of poison snakes, of cars, of mothers and fathers, Children at the mercy of stinging insects, of freezing nights, of fright, I am here to protect you.

Children at the mercy of monsters, disease, knives, Of thunder and lightning, of armies, of bad dreams, Children at the mercy of the gods, of madmen, of silence, of death, I am here to protect you.
